Janine is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in Adult-Gerontological Primary Care. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Diabetes Association, and the American College of Physicians. Janine graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Master's in Nursing from Walden University and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.
Janine started her career with a bachelor's degree in Rehabilitative Services from the University of Florida and worked in direct patient rehabilitative care. Shortly afterward, she obtained her Master's in Business Administration from Texas State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude and working for several years in healthcare management. Missing the interaction with patients, she went back to school and obtained her nursing degree, again graduating with top honors. She has worked with complex patient care for several years and primary medicine. Janine is an advocate for health and nutrition. She loves health research and is prevention-focused. Although she treats chronic conditions, her passion is patient wellness, and she has studied holistic medicine, weight loss, hormone therapy, and aesthetics. She aspires for each of her patients to achieve feel and look their best. She is an advocate for patient equality and LGBTQIA+ care. Her goal is to partner with each patient so they can obtain optimal health both physically and mentally. Janine is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys her time exploring Arizona’s wonderful playground and spending time in the mountains of Utah. She enjoys running, mountain biking, skiing, and hiking with her husband and her three kids.
